Your pet’s home away from home while you are away from home is Bowser’s Bed & Breakfast and Miss Kitty’s Cat Cottage.
The Clinton County SPCA maintains a boarding facility for cat and dog owners who would like to board their pet while away. This facility is completely separate from the shelter, which takes in stray animals. One hundred percent of the revenue from the boarding facility goes to help the shelter.
We call our canine boarding facility Bowser’s Bed and Breakfast. This facility has 16 indoor kennels with adjoining outdoor runs and four indoor kennels.
Miss Kitty’s Cat Cottage is our cat boarding facility. It has 11 kennels that can house two cats each. There is also an exercise area where your favorite feline can stretch and play.
Each kennel is cleaned and disinfected daily and blankets are washed in the boarding laundry facility.
The animals are given fresh food and water each day. Although the boarding facility provides food for your pet, you may bring your pet’s food with you.
We will also administer any medication your pet has been prescribed.
